“Jehovah’s” Choice, Apple

Will be available for preorder Summer of 2024, shipping spring of 2026

This specific tree in our breeding program has the beauty to compete even in the grocery store aisle, with its solid deep red coloring. It ripens when the Gala Apple ripens, which is mid-September. The First Choice Apple attains the high levels of sugar needed to make your place a more desirable place to be for wildlife, than your neighbors. This apple’s ripening date is designed to give you the edge you need when there’s a target buck about to shed his velvet, who frequents yours and the neighbor’s property. This ripening date is designed to hold the big one and give you the chance to get it done early. We are confident from our advanced field trials that with this apple variety, the disease resistance is very high. When a major University came out and observed our trees, they asked to take leaf samples for DNA analysis, and the results were astounding.  The First Choice Apple had the DNA genetic markers for extremely high disease resistance. It’s important to note that after becoming ripe, First Choice will drop apples for about six weeks. In north Central Ohio,  that means apples dropping throughout most of October.
