Red Oak

Red oaks (Quercus rubra) are stately trees with fantastic shade and fall foliage.

These magnificent trees, native to the east coast of North America, grow to be large trees averaging 100 feet tall and about 40 to 60 feet wide.

This tree will require a lot of space and will likely live for 100 years.

Red oak (Quercus rubra) is part of the red oak group. These oaks have points on the leaf lobes and their acorns mature in two growing seasons (unlike white oaks).
